The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings made with The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited whether via the individual hotel website or by telephone or otherwise. Please note that for promotional bookings the relevant additional terms and conditions should be consulted.
When you make a booking, your contract (which shall include these terms and conditions) will be with The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited, which shall mean in these terms and conditions
All rates & pricing featured on the The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited website or quoted by telephone or otherwise are offered subject to availability and The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited reserves the right to refuse any booking for good reason.
The Parsonage accepts the following payment types:
We offer a full range of packages and pricing, as detailed below. Our packages and pricing will fluctuate depending on availability and demand at any given time. All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to availability and are inclusive of VAT at the current prevailing rate. Your price is guaranteed once you have been given a confirmation number.
In general, our Advance Purchase rates are available 7 days or more before the date of arrival (exceptions may apply on selected dates), and are fully prepaid at time of booking. Advance Purchase Rates are non refundable and non transferable. The credit/debit card used to book the Advance Purchase rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required.
In general, our Best Flexible Rates are available until the day of arrival. These rates allow you to alter or cancel your booking up until 12 Noon, 48 hours prior to the day of arrival without charge. Cancellations made after this time will incur a one night's room charge.
These rates will require a promotion code. Separate terms and conditions may apply which will take precedence over these standard booking terms and conditions.
For the avoidance of doubt, your price does not include any incidental charges which you may incur during your stay (including, by way of example only, in respect of your use of the hotel's bar and the costs of external telephone calls from your room). Such charges will be payable by you on your departure and, in the event that you fail to pay any such incidental charges, it is a condition of your contract with The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited that you irrevocably authorise The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limitedto debit your credit or debit card (see 'Deposits and Pre-payments' below) for the amount of any shortfall.
Prices for breaks include twin or double bedrooms (single room for single guests) with colour TV, direct dial telephone and private en-suite bathroom.
During major sporting events, social events, conference and exhibitions certain rates may not be available. Certain dates may be subject to a minimum length of stay. All rates are subject to availability.
Individual guests using a double or twin room for sole occupancy (where available) may benefit from a reduced rate at the hotel. These rooms may carry a supplement each night. Please ask at the time of booking.
Children under the age of twelve can stay free on a bed & breakfast basis at the hotel when sharing a room with two paying adults. Children from the ages of 12 to 15 years will be charged at £15.00 per child per night when sharing a room with two paying adults. Availability of suitable rooms is limited and portable beds may need to be used where such accommodation is sought. The management at The Parsonage will determine whether a room is suitable for the purpose of this offer. Children staying in their own room will be charged 50% of the full adult rate paid by the accompanying adults.
The Hotel offers a selection of modified facilities for guests with impaired mobility. Whilst not having special facilities, have mainly level access to public areas and accessible bathrooms. Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with their chosen hotel in advance that their requirements can be met. Please call the hotel direct for details.
Car parking is complimentary to all guests.
Hotel rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise sanctioned at the discretion of the hotel manager.
Rates which include breakfast offer a full traditional or continental breakfast with tea or coffee, unless stated otherwise. There is no refund for meals which are not taken by guests.

When you make your booking you will be asked to guarantee your booking with a valid debit/credit card if booked on Best Flexible Rate, or to prepay if booked on our Advance Purchase Rates, partnership or promotional rates.
A booking of ten rooms or more is classified as a group and is subject to our Group Terms & Conditions of business, which differ from our Best Available and Advance Purchase rates. Please contact our Reservations team for further details.
Prior to your departure from the hotel you will be required to settle your bill.
On arrival you will be asked to produce a valid credit card for the hotel to take pre-authorisation. If you are settling your account in cash or with a debit card, you will be asked for a deposit to cover the cost of your room for your stay (any extras which you may incur in the hotel will not be chargeable to your room account). The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited accepts all major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
Alternatively, payment can be made by cheque supported by a current cheque guarantee card. The credit/debit card used to book the Advance Purchase rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel.
All cancellations are made in accordance with the cancellation terms of the rate booked.
Advance Purchase Rates are non refundable and non transferable and full pre-payment will be forfeited.
Best Flexible Rates may be cancelled up until 12 Noon, 48 hours prior to the date of arrival without charge, after which a charge for the first night's accommodation shall be payable.
Promotion and Partnership rates may only be cancelled in accordance with the specific terms applying to that rate which will be advised at the time of booking.
A cancellation number must be obtained to ensure that minimum charges are levied.
Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any particular requests which you may make in relation to your stay with us, please note that these requests do not form part of our contract and we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet any particular requests.
In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation,

For the avoidance of doubt, we shall have no further liability to you for any changes to or the cancellation of any stay with us.
Any complaint or comment regarding a stay at one of our hotels should be made in the first instance to the hotel's duty manager at the time of your stay so that it can be resolved at the time.
Problems which cannot be resolved there and then should be notified in writing to the hotel’s General Manager, The Parsonage Dunmore Park, Airth, Stirlingshire FK2 8LU.

The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise as a result of such events.
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to attempt to exclude or limit Airth Castle Hotel Limited’s liability for the death or personal injury of any person caused by the negligence of Airth Castel Hotel Limited, its employees, servants or agents or to attempt to exclude or limit The Parsonage (Dunmore) Limited liability in any manner which would be unlawful.
These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the hotel you make your booking is situated.
